Refund policy

Returns, Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Each original artwork is unique and can be vulnerable to unnecessary handling and repeated transport. Please review the photographs, dimensions, medium, framing status and description carefully before ordering.

1. Our voluntary returns position

BeSahu Arts does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Except where mandatory law gives you a cancellation, withdrawal or other remedy, all sales are final.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

2. EU and United Kingdom consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom and buy an eligible ready-made item online, you may cancel the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after the day you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the item. If one order is delivered in separate parts, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

To exercise this right before the deadline, use the Cancel or return an order link in the website footer or send an unequivocal statement to info@besahuarts.com. Include your name, order number, the item concerned and a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract. You may use the model form at the end of this policy, but it is not compulsory.

If you use the online withdrawal function, an acknowledgement will be sent to you by email. A request is not required to include a reason.

3. Returning an eligible EU or UK order

After notifying us of withdrawal, you must send the item back without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after your notice. The acknowledgement or our follow-up will confirm how to identify the parcel and the correct return address. A valid statutory withdrawal does not require our approval.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or materially misdescribed, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. BeSahu Arts does not provide a prepaid label for a change-of-mind withdrawal.

You are responsible for packing the artwork with appropriate protection. Use the original protective materials where reasonably possible. A tracked service is strongly recommended and insurance should be purchased where reasonably available for the value of the work. Keep proof of dispatch.

You may inspect the item only as you reasonably could in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item's nature and characteristics. This can include avoidable creasing, marking, exposure to moisture, removal from a sealed protective mount where inspection did not require it, or damage caused by inadequate return packaging. Any deduction will be based on the actual reduction in value, not a flat restocking fee.

4. Refunds for a valid EU or UK withdrawal

For a valid statutory withdrawal, we will refund the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered for that order. Any additional amount paid for express, premium or specially requested delivery is not refundable beyond the standard-delivery amount.

The refund will be made to the original payment method without undue delay and within the period required by law. We may withhold the refund until the item is received.

Direct return costs and any lawful deduction for diminished value remain your responsibility.

5. Commissioned and personalised artwork

Where permitted by law, the change-of-mind withdrawal right does not apply to artwork made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you. Such work is final for change-of-mind purposes once the order is accepted and production begins. This exception does not remove rights relating to damage, fault, incorrect supply or failure to meet the agreed specifications.

6. Customers outside the EU and United Kingdom

For customers in the United States and other destinations outside the EU and United Kingdom, BeSahu Arts does not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Those sales are final unless mandatory law in your location gives you a non-excludable right.

7. Damage, fault, incorrect items or material misdescription

If an order arrives damaged, is incorrect, or materially differs from its product description, contact info@besahuarts.com without undue delay. If possible, contact us within 48 hours so we can preserve evidence for the carrier, but missing this requested timeframe does not remove your mandatory legal rights.

Keep the artwork, all inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Send clear photographs of the item, packaging and label, together with your order number. Do not return a damaged or incorrect item before receiving instructions unless this is necessary to preserve a legal deadline.

We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable law. Where BeSahu Arts is responsible for a valid fault, damage, incorrect supply or material misdescription claim, the necessary return cost will not be charged to you.

8. Colour, surface and disclosed characteristics

Screen settings and lighting can cause minor differences in colour. Original and handmade work may contain visible paper texture, deckled edges, brushwork, plate marks or other characteristics described or shown in the listing. A disclosed characteristic or minor screen-colour variation is not automatically a fault. This does not excuse a material misdescription.

9. Order cancellation before dispatch

Use the Cancel or return an order link or email us immediately. EU customers may use the statutory electronic withdrawal function where applicable. For other customers, a cancellation request is not accepted until confirmed in writing by BeSahu Arts. If an order has already been dispatched, the applicable return rules above apply.

10. Return address

Please notify us before posting a return so it can be identified. We may give you another authorised return address in writing where appropriate. This identification step does not make a valid statutory withdrawal subject to approval.
